Performance/High Performance 8x AF
These shots were taken with the Performance/High Performance settings with 8x AF applied. The top is again the 43.45 drivers, while the bottom is the 44.03. Even though the edges on the older driver are a bit more filtered, the closest mipmap does not come anywhere close to being 8x filtered. Note also the filtering pattern on the farther mipmaps. An interesting tradeoff to be sure. Quality/Performance
The top setting is with the 43.45 drivers set to Quality/no AF, while the bottom is the 44.03 drivers set to Performance/no AF. Again, the older drivers do a better job of filtering at the edges of the mipmaps, while the Performance setting with the 44.03 drivers do not do as much filtering at the edges (though it is present, but not terribly noticeable).
